How to Overcome Snoring During Sleep

Do you snore while sleeping? for those of you who work outside normal office hours eg working at night, you should be careful not to hit due to shift work sleep disorder.
Condition due to shift work sleep disorder is widely experienced by people who work every day just when everyone is asleep. The condition is often expressed by the patient usually is trouble sleeping during working hours ended or feel sleepy but can not fall asleep. In addition, patients often complain of headaches, difficulty concentrating and feeling exhausted.

Effects on Body and Mental
Recent research conducted by Dr. Andrew D. Krystal, MS from the Department of Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, USA said there are several conditions associated with the condition of sleep difficulties in patients who experience sleep disturbances related to shift work.

Endocrine disorders such as increased appetite, metabolism and oxygen consumption. Also occur sympathetic activation of the autonomic nervous system that often cause symptoms such as palpitations and feeling of shortness of breath that usually triggers anxiety. Also reduced use of glucose in the brain substance in certain areas so that the brain does not work optimally.

Difficulty sleeping conditions can also increase the neuroendocrine system abnormalities associated with decreased thyroid stimulating hormone, lower levels of growth hormone (growth hormone), prolactin and leptin. Patients will also decrease the body's immune against infectious diseases and increased oxidative stress which the body produces oxidants.

Disrupt the circadian rhythm

The condition is difficult to sleep like this will certainly disrupt the function of that person. In general, people need about 6-8 hours sleep a day and this condition is somewhat difficult to achieve in patients who experience sleep disturbances due to shift work.

Which occurs in patients with this condition is actually a circadian rhythm or body clock is not able to cope with the changing situation. As is known the process to sleep at night is affected by light. Sunlight is lost in the sunset in harmony with the increase of the sleep hormone melatonin in the body that induces sleep. This condition will lead individuals to enter sleep at night.

In people who work at night until early morning, this condition is not managed to become a pattern that should the fact that the body does not follow the pattern to sleep but kept awake by the person sought.

Unfortunately at the time the individual wants to sleep in the morning, the body does not see any sync with the environment that is bright. Condition of 'confusion' of the body that causes the presence of a sleep disturbance associated with shift work.

This is especially true in individuals who change shift patterns were more frequently eg every 3-4 days as compared with individuals who change her shift as once a month.

What Must We to Do?
Although very hard worker should be put to sleep as a priority after work. He must prepare the best possible time to sleep in the morning after work. Prepare your body and mind for sleep. Reduce exposure (exposure) to light in the morning on the way home. One way to wear clothes that reduce skin exposure to sunlight.

If you have a ritual before going to sleep at night, do as usual. Do not delay your sleep time with other activities or other trip, get to sleep after a period of night work out. Keep in mind the importance of maintaining sleep between 6-8 hours per day.

Ask the family at home to support your efforts to get to sleep. A comfortable and quiet environment can help you towards a peaceful sleep. Avoid noisy sound TV or working tools that emit sound. It could also put a ban on 'Do not be disturbed, sleeping' in front of your room.

Remember that sleep is essential for the health of body and soul. Try your best to sleep in order to be healthy and qualified individuals.
Regards Healthy Life.
